Panasonic 4 Line Cordless System
The small business cordless phone market has been waiting for a multi line / multi-handset system to step forward for quite a while. Panasonic has filled that void with the introduction of the Panasonic KX-TG4500B. The Panasonic KX-TG4500B replaces the discontinued but wildly popular KX-TG4000B. The new KX-TG4500B operates at 5.8GHz where as the TG4000B operated at 2.4GHz. Panasonic also has eliminated the cordless desk top model the TG4000B had in the form of the KX-TGA400B.
Long Range, Clear Sound, Minimal Interference
The switch to 5.8GHz FHSS technology allows the KX-TGA4500B to operate in the much less crowded wavelength and at the same time maintaining great security, clear sound and long range. Concerned with interference with wireless computer networks? The 5.8GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.llg Wifi.
Up to 4 Lines and 8 Handsets
Being a completely cordless system means that a small business can install the system without the worry of expensive wiring and installation. Installation consists of simply plugging the base unit into an AC outlet and then connecting up to 4 phone lines. Up to 8 cordless handsets can easily be added by just plugging a charger into an AC outlet. Your business is up and running in minutes instead of days.
All-Digital Voice Mail System
No business system would be complete without a voice mail system. The Panasonic comes equipped with and all digital voice mail system that delivers crystal-clear messages and up to 100 minutes of recording time. The voice mail has 8 mailboxes and a general delivery mailbox. The system has a Auto Attendant which can answer your call play a main greeting that you record. This allows you to setup scenarios like “Thank you for calling. For Sales press 1, for Accounting press 2 …..”, so your callers can easily find the person or department they are calling for.
All messages are stored in flash memory which means that if you lose power you don’t have to worry about losing your messages they will be there when power is restored.
Other features include remote retrieval of messages, skip-and-repeat messages and Toll Saver.
Caller ID and Caller ID Waiting
If you subscribe to Caller ID from your phone company the display on the base unit or on the back lit cordless phones will show you the name and number of the person calling. Additionally if you have Caller ID Call Waiting you can see the number of caller that is coming in when you hear the Call Waiting beep. This allow you to make a better decision of whether you need to answer the call that is waiting to come in.
The system will store up to 50 Caller ID numbers in memory, that you can scroll thru and call back.
Loaded with Features
Panasonic really covered all the bases when designing the KX-TG4500B. The list of features are impressive and numerous. Most of the features that you find in more expensive and traditional small businesses phone systems are packed into this Panasonic powerhouse.

The Panasonic KX-TG4500B Multi-Line Phone System is not the RCA junk that hit the market. My own tests have proven this to be a wonderful product. Easy to use and excellent range. I have had good luck selling to homes and small offices. Also take a look at their KX-TS4300 4 - Line corded system with no KSU.
