Two Great Systems That Go Great Together
May 08, 2010PARTNER was first Introduced in 1990, later morphed into the PARTNER ACS and since it's inception has sold over 1.3 million systems. The PARTNER ACS by all accounts has been a huge success. That success looks to continue as the PARTNER ACS makes the evolutionary leap to a next generation phone system. With the introduction of the IP OFFICE Essential Edition - PARTNER Version, the PARTNER ACS experience continues but is now overlaid on the IP OFFICE 500 v2 chassis. This allows current users of the PARTNER ACS to migrate existing PARTNER ACS telephones to the powerful IP Office Hardware Platform, thus giving PARTNER ACS a clear path to the future in the form of the IP OFFICE phone system.
Set it an Forget it
The beauty of IP OFFICE - PARTNER Version is it retains a lot of what made PARTNER ACS the success it is today. The last thing a small business wants is a phone system that is complicated and difficult to manage. Right Out-of-the-Box Partner Version can place and receive calls without any initial programming. For users familiar with PARTNER ACS there essentially is no learning curve because the phone layout, programming and codes are the same. If you know PARTNER ACS then you know PARTNER Version.
Simple System Management
The PC Administration abilities on the PARTNER ACS where admittedly weak. Remote administration using the Remote Access Card could be problematic and darn right maddening to execute. PARTNER Version eliminates this weakness with the ability to connect Partner Version to your LAN making remote administration a breeze. A Simple GUI programming application now makes the Partner ACS a pure joy to administer
The New Stuff
PARTNER Version brings the PARTNER ACS up to speed with today's existing and emerging technologies with with full support for T1/PRI and the emerging VoIP technology of SIP trunks. No need for advanced trunking? No problem, PARTNER Version still supports regular analog POTS lines.
Voice mail was previously optional on the PARTNER ACS but now comes standard with a 2-Port Voice Mail. All users on the system are activated automatically for voice mail and the system can be expanded to have up to 6 ports. Also provided is the ability to send voice mail to email without additional hardware.
Cell phones are integral part of any business, with Mobile twinning you can have calls ring your phone and cell phone simultaneously and then go to voicemail if you can't answer.
A 64 Party Conference bridge is available when using digital trunks, so now everyone can get into the conversion.
PARTNER Version also introduces a new line of digital telephones â?? 14xx Series sets, which will work in conjunction with the PARTNER ETR sets.
The Partner Experience Lives On!
PARTNER owners can now rejoice knowing they have a clear and exciting migration path to follow as PARTNER Version allows them to stay in step with today's emerging and future technologies.
So all you fans of the PARTNER ACS, let's give a big cheer for your next phone system.
