Configure your IP Office Quick Version Phone System

Our IP Office Quick Version configuration tool allow you to easily configure a phone system to your exact specifications.

By answering a few simple questions regarding the setup of your phone system, the configuration tool will setup a basic system that utilizes analog phone company lines and new 1400 digital telephones. If you have more advanced needs call us 800-339-4588

Let's get started.

  • Number of Phone Lines
First we need to know how many telephone lines from the phone company you are using or going to use on your new phone system. If you are going to have a dedicated fax line, then you do not need to include that in the total.
One other thing we'd like to bring up is line "Hunting". Hunting is not a function of your phone system but is a service that is provided by the phone company where if someone calls your main telephone line and it is busy they will direct the call to the next phone line in the hunting order.

Keep this in mind when ordering lines from the phone company as you want to order as many lines as you think you will need for incoming and outgoing calls, so that your customers will not get a busy signal.
  • Number of Telephones
How many telephones will you need?
  • Voicemail
The IP Office has a built-in 2 port Voice mail. 2 ports means that the voice mail can answer 2 calls at a time. 2 Ports is usually fine for smaller system setups or if you don't plan on having the phone system answer your calls during the day with auto attendant. The voice mail can be upgraded to 4 or 6 ports if necessary.
